• Install Eclipse Europa
• Install Eclipse SDK plugin via Help > Software Updates > Find and Install > The Eclipse Project Updates > Eclipse SDK 3.3 > Eclipse Plug-in Development Environment yadda yadda.
• Create new project, Plug-in, Hello World. Open plugin.xml; on overview tab click "Launch an Eclipse application".
• In the newly launched instance of Eclipse, there is an Eclipse icon in the toolbar. Click it. Woohoo.
